First Aid Course for Parents, Carers, Students& Teachers

First Aid Education is assisting your school to offer a First Aid Course to Parents, Caregivers, Students and Teachers.

The course is delivered at YOUR school on the date and time as listed under the course information. 

First Aid Education is committed to assisting schools to meet with their duty of care to students and firmly believe that the more mums, dads, grandparents, carers and students (not just teachers) can be skilled in first aid then the safer our children's excursions, sporting events, after school activities, public transport to and from school will become as there will be more people standing by to provide rapid first aid response should an incident occur.

About the First Aid Course

This 8 hour course will give you the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a person in need.

Classes are fun and face-to-face with plenty of practical hands on learning.

The course is suitable for both people in schools, childcare, workplaces and to members of the public.

This course includes CPR (HLTAID001), pre course reading and on the day assessment.

**Please note: The asthma & anaphylaxis component is only an awareness. If you work in children's services you will need to complete the full Asthma course (National Course Code 22282VIC) & Anaphylaxis course (National Course Code 22300VIC.)

Course Cost

The cost of the Course is $80.00 per person.

A minimum of 15 online enrolments is required for the course to proceed. So, please tell the other mums and dads to enrol. We will be advertising the course through the schools Social Media, Web Application and School Newsletter.

The course cost includes PDF version of workbook, training, assessment and certifcation.

Upon enrolment online, you will receive a link whereby you can download the course workbook. We ask that you read and familiarise yourself with the workbook prior to the training day.

On the day of the course, the homework must be handed in. The practical components of the course are undertaken. i.e. Priority Steps of First Aid - DRSABCD, CPR, Bandaging, and Demonstration on the use of an Epipen & Asthma Equipment etc.

Written and Practical Assessments will be conducted throughout the course.
