HLTAID003 Provide first aid is the first aid course required by all workplaces nationally. It replaces courses previously known as Level 2 and Senior First Aid. This course is the required first aid course for any first aider in the workplace.

Most first aiders will also be required to complete the annual HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation renewal training depending on the industry they work in or their workplace's first aid policy.

The course includes HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001)

HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a Unit of Competency that provides the skills and knowledge required to perform CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines. It is the most recent version of what is often referred to as the CPR Update or CPR Refresher.

It is recommended by the Australian Resuscitation Council that this course be renewed annually.

The course includes defibrillation (AED) training. If you require AED training this is the course you should complete.
